Interlake Power Line Contractors is a Manitoba based contractor with two business offices in Manitoba. Their head office is located in Lundar, Manitoba and they also have a northern office location in Snow Lake. The majority of the projects IPL undertakes are Manitoba Hydro initiatives and the bulk of the work is in Northern Manitoba. Interlake Power Line Contractors was founded by the Desjarlais family in 2002. The Company was started as a small family-run business with about ten employees on the first project. In a very short period, the company has grown to be the largest Power Line contracting Company in Manitoba. The success of Interlake Power Line Contractors is largely due to experience and our commitment to our employees. IPLC has built a solid reputation, based on competency and the ability to complete all projects efficiently. Interlake Power Line is committed to the safety of all our employees. COR™ Certification was obtained by the company July of 2009 under the direction of a Gold Seal Safety Officer. The Certificate of Recognition (COR™) was issued to our Company through CSAM (Construction Safety Association of Manitoba). At times we employ a work force of up to 160 people and manage a fleet of over 100 pieces of equipment.
